What began as a sunny afternoon at Southend Airport quickly turned into a scene of heartbreak and chaos. Eyewitnesses report a touching moment as a pilot waved at children just seconds before his aircraft tragically crashed in a fiery explosion shortly after takeoff.
A Heartwarming Gesture That Turned Tragic
John Johnson, who was at the airport with his wife and children, described the chilling moments leading up to the crash.
